My mom, brother, and I tried the sweet Swine Burger (1/3# burger with ham, swiss cheese, onion straws, pineapple ring - drizzled with sweet & sour sauce on ciabatta or regular bun); BBQ Bacon Burger (1/3# burger with applewood smoke bacon, cheddar, onion straws, homemade bbq sauce on ciabatta); The Porker (BBQ pulled pork with a side of coleslaw with fries on a ciabatta roll); cheese curds - comes with either homemade bbq sauce, ranch, farmhouse dressing or Southwest dressing, onion rings, chili, mini cow pies - raspberry crisp and double chocolate chip.

 

Description and Remarks:  A little while back my brother Bill called and told me about this restaurant, so I called him and asked if he wanted to join our mother and me as I wanted to try it..
It's around 15 miles outside of Ashland, but a nice ride that goes fast.
I am a burger connoisseur, and many times I have gone to what I hear is a really great burger restaurant only to be disappointed. NOT this time! All their food that we tried was awesome. The cheese curds were light and crispy and the cheese was very tasty, the onion rings were big and juicy (though they could have been a bit crispier), the chili had excellent flavor, but for my taste a bit too spicy (though my husband will love it!). 

The burgers were big and juicy and packed with flavor. My mom had the Sweet Swine and she chose a regular bun, I chose the ciabatta and it was great. My brother had the Porker and said it was delicious but he would have one change, and that would be to have larger pieces of pork - it was very finely shredded. His plate was loaded with fries that came with his meal and even though I do not like stings fries, these had an excellent fresh taste.  
All their sauces for the curds (except for the Southwest is homemade).

We ended with the mini cow pies, and let me tell ya....YUMMY!!!!

The service was great - we were seated by a perky young  server (all the servers were dressed like country-like).
The owner - Jackson, came by all the tables and made sure everyone was enjoying their meals, This is  good sign and one that makes me feel comfortable. It says they care and if you have a problem, they want to make sure they fix it. This is not a common practice and one I am very happy to see!

We all enjoyed our meals immensely and would definitely come back. Even the drive from Hayward was worth it.
