Todd LOVES New Orleans and spicy food, so when visiting La Crosse, we HAD to have dinner here. While he loved his food, everything I tried had just way too much spice. So if you are taking anyone who does not like spicy food, this is not the place to go.
I ended up having the Southern fried shrimp, and it was just "meh." Todd had the Cajun combo and we both had the hush-puppies - which I have to say I was disappointed with as well. I was expecting excellent hush-puppies, and again, "meh."
Todd said his dinner rated at only a three.

I wish I could give a better rating, but it really was all just "okay." The interior was interesting and it was packed with people, so maybe we were missing something...
