My husband and I are great sushi lovers, so when this restaurant opened in Rice  lake, we were really excited as there ain't no sushi in Hayward!

We had an array of sushi and we tried some tempura and udon.

The sushi was good. There is no sushi bar, which for us is part of the fun. The tempura was okay...is was a bit mushy, and the udon was also okay. I don't think I would try it again.  We would like to go back
and try it and see if things have improved in the way of sushi and tempura... They also serve hibachi meals. We tried this place close to when they opened up and may not have been fully prepared.

We are however, grateful that we have a Japanese restaurant in a relatively close proximity to us, and we will return.
